Brownheart (Vouacapoua americana) also referred to as Partridge Wood and Wacapoe. The heartwood color is described as dark brown or reddish-brown and deepens upon exposure to light. Brownheart has very distinct and lighter colored vessel lines and is similar in appearance to Black and Red Palm, but not nearly as brash. It is very easy to turn and glues up well. Native to Brazil.
