LANETE  - (Wrightia arborea) also known as Thng mc lng (Vietnam); Mc lng (Vietnam); Mok man (Thailand); Taung salat (Myanmar); Letthoke (Myanmar). Native to Southeast Asia.
Lanete is a small to medium-sized tree growing up to 60 feet tall and 12-14 inches in diameter.
Heartwood is creamy white to pale yellow, sometimes with a pinkish tinge.
Common uses are turnings, packing, musical instruments, handicrafts, pencils, shoes.
