Thuya Burl Bowl 6190

This gorgeous Bowl is hand turned and made from Thuya Burl. The Bowl is signed, numbered and dated (year). They are finished with a friction polish that's applied while still on the lathe.

This dish measures approximately 5 1/2" across and is 1 1/2" high.

Thuya Burl (Tetraclinis articulata) is a fantastic burl form the Atlas mountain region

Mainly Morocco, Malta and southern Spain. Thuya has a very distinct, cedar-like smell.
