This beautiful hand turned crochet hook is made from Spalted Texas Cedar Elm with your choice of wood ends and rings. The Cedar Elm used in the body of this hook is stabilized to enhances the grain and strength. It's also been Cross Cut. The hooks are shaped with a larger handle to relieve stress on the hand and wrist when crocheting. They also have an Ergonomic shape that fits nicely in the hand.

Because this hook is handcrafted there will be variation in appearance, grain, size and color. While there are slight variation the basic Ergonomic shape is maintained. No two handcrafted hooks will be the same!

Angle or Cross Cut refers to the direction of the grain to the cut of the blade. By cutting the wood this way the hook will show greater variance of patterns, color and some end grain compared to cutting with the grain.
