PLEASE NOTE: Redheart is a softer wood and may not be suitable for smaller sizes (H and smaller) I will turn if ordered but Bloodwood may be a better choice for a smaller sized red hook.
This beautiful handcrafted crochet hook is made from Redheart. The hooks are shaped with a larger handle to relieve stress on the hand and wrist when crocheting. They also have an Ergonomic shape that fits nicely in the hand.

Because this hook is handcrafted there will be variation in appearance, grain, size and color. While there are slight variation the basic Ergonomic shape is maintained. No two handcrafted hooks will be the same!

Redheart displays marvelous grain patterns, with wavy lines of dark brown and bright pink-red. The swirling end-grain indicates interlocking grain that needs sharp tools to work. The sapwood is a contrasting color and ages to a pale yellow. Redheart is from Mexico and Central America. Can be a medium to heavy wood.
