This beautiful hand turned crochet hook is made from a collection of resins to stimulate Mother of Pearl with your choice of exotic wood ends and rings. The hooks are shaped with a larger handle to relieve stress on the hand and wrist when crocheting. They also have an Ergonomic shape that fits nicely in the hand.

Because this hook is handcrafted there will be variation in appearance, grain, size and color. While there are slight variation the basic Ergonomic shape is maintained. No two handcrafted hooks will be the same!

I was looking for ergonomic hooks when I first saw these hooks. I have arthritis in my hands and a comfortable hook is important. I have bought a few recommended ergo hooks and borrowed a few to see what I like using. I was so stunned by the beautiful design of the hook and the craftmanship. I splurged on the mother of pearl hook thinking it would end up being a show piece. It turned out to be a delight to crochet with! It feels so good in my hand, and my stitches have improved so much. It is the only hook I use since receiving it. I will eventually need/want other sizes, but for now I am very happy with this beauty. The fact that the hook can be repaired was the deal breaker for me as I have heard of wooden hooks breaking. There is also a selection of metal tips which can be added, but I really wanted at least one of Bryan's fully handcrafted hooks. Yes, you can crochet with about any hook, but good tools are lovely to work with, and why not enjoy the whole experience?
