The Mini Crochet Hook Pod or "UNO" Pod is designed to keep your crochet hook in a safe place but still presented for display.


The mini pod measures about 2" - 3" across and about 3/4" - 1" high depending on the species of wood. It will be a bit larger for size L and larger.

​They are handcrafted so they will vary.


The pod pictured represents the pod you will receive. This is a wooden item, grains and color will vary.

I love these mini crochet hook Pods. The Tulipwood beautifully matches an H hook that I had previously purchased from Nelsonwood on Etsy. I thought about getting one of the large pods sold here, but decided to go with the mini version so that I could match my hooks to the different pods. I initially bought five pods to match the different hooks that I also purchased from Nelsonwood. I purchased 3 Tulipwood, 1 Spalted Tamarind, and 1 Birdseye Maple of the mini pods. The craftsmanship is excellent and the mini pods are gorgeous. The hooks fit perfectly into the holes and stand up perfectly which allows safe storage and display of the beautiful crochet hooks made at Nelsonwood. The only issue that I had with my order was that I picked specific types of wood in each size pod to go with specific hooks and when I received my order the sizes had been changed around on the different wood types of the pods. The size of the Spalted Tamarind mini pod no longer matched the Spalted Tamarind hook I had purchased at the same time, etc. Other than that, I am very pleased with the mini pods. They are beautiful, have a lovely shine, and the colors of the wood are amazing. I liked them so much that I have placed an order for one more mini pod as I really wanted a Spalted Tamarind pod to match my Spalted Tamarind hook. That means I will have one extra pod in size "I" so of course I had to order another hook to match the pretty Tulipwood pod that I just didn't find matched the Spalted Tamarind hook. Please don't let my matching issue prevent you from purchasing one of these mini pods. I am sure if you are like me and want to coordinate you could just leave a note on your order which is an option at checkout and something I had not done.
