Description

These Mills are made from Jarrah Burl from Australia. Jarrah Burl general has a lot of voids and is very difficult to work with. In a crochet hook I usually fill the voids with ebony dust or some metal filings to give an inlay look. But left it all natural here. The mill are cored with a solid cherry wood to contain the salt and pepper

The two mills stand about 6 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" wide.

These beautiful hand-turned salt and pepper mills are the perfect complement to any kitchen.

These are similar but separate mills. As with all my turnings, they are done by hand. I don't use a duplicator on my lathe. By doing them by hand, this makes them similar, but not the same. There are subtle differences.
