Cocobolo (Dalbergia retusa) Part of the Rosewood family, this seductive wood grows in coastal areas of Central America. Cocobolo is hard, dense and strong, and has tremendous color variation including combinations of yellow, orange, red, brown and black hues. Grain is straight to interlocked, often with many swirls. It is one of the most beautiful rosewoods in the world.
