Description

This handcrafted crochet hook is made from Afzelia Xylia Lace. The hook is shaped with a larger handle to relieve stress on the hand and wrist when crocheting. The crochet hook has an Ergonomic shape that fits nicely in the hand.


Blocks 1-3 are 8" long and 4-6 are 6" long. 6" for size K or smaller, 8" for size L and larger.

Because this hook is handcrafted there will be variation in appearance, grain, size and color. While there are slight variation the basic Ergonomic shape is maintained. No two handcrafted hooks will be the same!

Afzelia wood can have incredible figure and the most outstanding and rare is the Xylia Lace figure. It looks like raised alligator skin, which really shows best when the surface is very highly polished. This figure is from Southeast Asia and is very rare.


It is extremely difficult to get this figure in a small diameter item. I have a few piece the MAY display this figure. I do not guarantee the amount or quality of any of this figure in these pieces.
