	TEAK BURL - (Tectona grandis) Teak Burl comes from S.E.Asia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand . Dark golden-yellow heartwood, turning brown to dark brown with age. The timber has a distinct oily feel and is characteristically scented. Machines and turns well. Teak is not know for it's burl. I was told by my supplier that teak burl is very, VERY rare and don't expect to see very much if any anymore. So I bought as much as I could... which wasn't much considering the price!
