Over the years I've come across many shapes in the wood I
turn. I just wish I had pictures of them all. Here are a few.....Give thanks to Mother Nature and the soul of the tree for the
addition to some beautiful bowls. If you don't see them keep looking. And if you see something

Amboyna Burl first two bowls show a heart, the third shows three
profiles, the fourth and fifth another profile.

This is a very amazing bowl. It's Myrtlewood burl. The second picture
shows a dog sitting, third is a profile of a face,
fourth a profile of an old lady, fifth is crocodile jaws and
the last is a duck.

This Myrtlewood burl has two faces in the first two pictures
and a flying bird in the next two. |
