	Brown Mallee - (Eucalyptus socialis) Mallee is the name given to a species of Eucalypts which grow multiple stems from one bulbous root stock. Mallee are comparatively small Eucalypts, the largest growing only to 10 metres in height. The naturally occurring Mallee species is native to Australia and are frequently found in poor sandy soiled inland areas.
